My approach to Personal Training is based on Mindfulness through Breath and Inner Focus
Before I officially became an ACE Personal Trainer, I had a correct and global understanding of the body and its functions. I had developed through my many years of instruction of Tai Chi and Qigong a good intuitive way of helping my students get more aligned, more flexible, and/ or more balanced. As a certified personal trainer, I can now assess a student with even more precision, therefore I can pinpoint what a person needs to develop in order to obtain tangible and long lasting results, whether it is about gaining more strength, more flexibility, more coordination, more balance, or all of the above!
I can create a comprehensive full body workout program that incorporates all the principles of mindfulness. That approach engages not only the physical body of my students but also their awareness of how they benefit on a deeper level as they also embrace their state of mind, which includes the emotional and mental aspect of it. Often we decide one day that it is time to improve our way of living (New year’s good resolutions!), we wish to reduce our level of stress by exercising more, to drop a few pounds too and to feel happier in a fitter body. At the beginning of each year, there’s often an increase of participants in fitness classes and more members join the gym.
Wonderful resolutions but how to keep our motivation high and proactive? By developing an increasing mindful behavior.
That will reflect not only on your body but also in your everyday life, on the way you eat, how you interact with people and on your level of joy and contentment in your life in general.
I have many tools, often simple, to help you develop a more profound way to literally transform your life. The only difficulty, as I often say in my classes, is to remember to use them. I will be there to remind you of them.
